A couple weeks ago Katelyn and Megan got to take their dear old dad ice skating. It was arranged through their Activity Days program as the big annual activity, and they were both very excited when the day finally came. We got to go up to the Murray ice rink and skate for a couple hours.
The leaders brought hot chocolate and doughnuts, which was a nice diversion when we came off the ice. Megan and Katelyn quickly picked up from when we last went ice skating (Manina’s birthday a few years ago), but they spent a lot of time trying to copy a skater who looked to be on the ice training for the Olympics.
We had a lot of fun together. I sure am lucky to have such great girls!
