Now that Jacob is a deacon, he can come along with Grandpa Mike and I to the Priesthood Session of General Conference. Since it was his first time, we decided to beg for tickets and try to go to the actually session instead of viewing the broadcast like we normally do.
Our bishop had two tickets, and we were able to scrounge a spare ticket from a friend’s father who is a stake president and had one spare.
We left a little later then we had planned, so we skipped a pre-game meal and hustled up to downtown SLC. We got a great parking spot, and were in line in plenty of time. After Grandpa Mike got his customary hassle from the security guards and ushers (he does look quite dangerous), we were able to get great seats center stage.
It was cool to be there when President Monson walked into the room, and it was good to hear all the great messages. Stopping for dinner after the session is never a good idea (it’s way too busy everywhere), so we had to settle for Wendy’s. We still had a great time though.

Such great memories! Let us know next time y’all want tickets, my dad can get them (we had lots of extras, including Priesthood session).
