Baseball has ended…at last

Jacob was drafted to the Astros team this year. He played third base most of the season but he pitched a few games as well. He had a great team with fabulous coaches. They only lost two games all season. When it came down to the tournament they lost in the second round to a team they should have beat. That’s just the way it goes with boys this age. One day they play great and the next it looks like they don’t know how to play. It’s interesting that way.

He did go on to play All-Stars up in SLC. They won two of the three games and had a lot of fun with all his buddies. Seth and I have really enjoyed watching him play. However, we are also grateful that the season is over and we can have a few evenings without meals from the freezer. 🙂
