Claire has recently found great independence in dressing herself. She loves to go through her closet and her dresser to find things to wear. It is a little frustrating at times because right after I dress her I will come in her room and sure enough, all of her clothes will be off and she will be putting on something else.
Last night after I put her to bed in her PJ’s I came into her room only to find her in a church dress bouncing on her bed. The best part is she can’t reach her dresses so she pushes her little rocking chair over to her closet and pulls on the dresses until the hangers break. So I have a huge pile of broken hangers. Anyone have a fun craft I can use them for? 🙂
Notice in the picture below yet another broken hanger and her PJ’s in a pile next to her…that was tonight. It happens pretty much every night. Gotta love her!

Now THAT’s my little girl! Wow, Claire is a perfect imprint of her super-mom! Do you remember that HUGE box of hand-me-downs you got from your cousins in Germany when you were about 2 years old? I’ll bet you mom remembers–you changed clothes about 4-5 times a day for the next three years. It was great and lots of fun to watch. You gotta love it! 🙂
