What could this be?

My kids were playing with one of my old cameras they found lying around in the toy box. I came into the living room and they were all staring at this strange archaic object (see below). Jacob looked up at me and said, “Mom, what is that?”. Isn’t it amazing that something that seems so obvious to some seems so strange to others. What an amazing time we live in. Technology is pretty fascinating.

By the way, for those of you younger folk that don’t know what this is, it is film (and apparently it is ruined now too).
