This Mother’s day has brought me a lot of wonderful surprises. Most holidays in our family are pretty low-key but not this time! My Mother’s day festivities started off with a Mother’s Day tea with Katelyn’s preschool class. They performed some fun songs and even recited a sweet little poem. They also served us vegetables …

Spring break, winter break, whatever
This past week was spring break, although it felt much like winter break — even in usually sunny St. George. The temps were in the 40’s and 50’s the first few days so we spent most our time indoors. We took the kids to the theater, the indoor pool, and we even took a quick …
Happy 3rd Birthday to our little princess.
Seth and I were startled from our sleep this morning as Claire danced into our room singing about how today was her birthday. She is such a princess. She twirled about the house all day knowing very well the whole day was all about her. Claire has a way about her that often captures the …

We finally did it!
After many sleepless nights and much debating, worrying, and calculating we have decided to put our home up for sale. The decision certainly did not come easy. We have a wonderful home in a spectacular neighborhood so this was very difficult for us to do.

To give, or not to give
Last Sunday I got a call from a young man doing and Eagle Scout project and he wanted me to donate blood. I am now on a list of regular donors to the Red Cross (Yeah, I am pretty proud of that!) Seth was gonna be working from home that afternoon so I didn’t really …
New hair, new hat
This weekend Meg got a haircut. She waited so long for it to grow out and then out of the blue, she decided she wanted it short again. Initially I was a little disappointed that she wanted to chop it all off but then Seth reminded me how much easier it would to get her …
Happy 1st Birthday Drew!
Drew turned 1 today. It is hard to believe a whole year has passed since his birth. He is the most calm, easy-going baby. We are so grateful to have him in our family. We didn’t do much to celebrate and didn’t have too many visitors (thanks to the mounds of snow we are getting) …
