Annual Johnson Family Campout 2016

It is that time of year again for another Johnson Family campout. It is seriously one of my kids’ favorite things we do. It ranks up there with Christmas. They love it!

This year we played hard. We made homemade ice-cream, played games (lots of four square), had a fun talent show, hiked up Bell Canyon, had a dutch oven cook-off, and more. Rach and Spencer lost little Graham a couple times. One time we actually had the whole camp looking for about 20 minutes before we met up with someone who found him up at another camp 1/4 mile up the street.

Jake had his high adventure camp during our campout this year. We missed him and he missed us. He loves hanging out with his cousins and uncles. A great time was had by all…well except maybe Graham, but then again I don’t even think he knew he was lost! 🙂 A big thanks to G’ma Jan and G’pa Mike for hosting this fun event every year. All your hard work doesn’t go unnoticed.
