With excited anticipation, my kiddos woke up early to prepare for their first day of school. I think everyone ended up wearing the outfit that was chosen in the fashion show the night before. They all looked beautiful (or handsome) and happy on their way out the door.
This year I was ready for school to start. In years past, I have gotten sad, but this summer I felt like we played hard. We had so much fun and it was time for a schedule to start. However, I am always happy to see them when they roll in on their bikes around 3:30. Here is to hoping for a fun, safe, knowledge-filled year!
Jake had to go to school a day early with he seventh graders a part of his student council duties.
