The kids were dying to go sledding so we woke up early and headed out to beat the crowds to the hill. Upon arrival, the wind hit us like a frozen ice wall. It was SO cold. The kids were troopers and they weren’t about to let a little wind and cold stop them. Even little Ellie flew down the hill several times before heading to the car with me.
They all had a pretty good time, considering the freezing temperatures. It was so cold that two of our plastic sleds cracked in half when the kids hit a bump coming down the hill. Yikes! We’ll have to take them again when the wind isn’t a factor. Now off to slurp down some warm hot chocolate!
