Drew has been anxious to get on his “big boy” bike for quite some time. A couple weeks ago Seth removed the training wheels so we could start the processing of teaching him. He caught on quickly but not enough to ride by himself. A few days later he played on his cousin Wyatt’s balance bike and there was no turning back. He came home, hopped on his bike and off he went.
He is only three, which is a little early for our kids to start riding, but he is doing great. He has some difficulty getting started but is fine once he gets going. He is so very proud of himself. The best part is he insists on wearing his helmet every time he rides. Why can’t all my kids be that way?!
Way to go Drew! Check back soon for some video footage.
AND FOR GOOD MEASURE…HOW CUTE ARE THESE THREE GIRLS ON THEIR CRUISERS?!

You go, Drew! Nice job. You look like a first-class biker boy. Those are some first-class biker babes you are leading, too. 🙂

Way to go Drew! Sammy has been working on this too-mostly because he had to. I ran over his bike and both training wheels were destroyed, so they are off and we are practicing-hopefully seeing Drew do it will motivate him!
