Earlier this week I took my youngest three (Katelyn, Claire and Drew) to the Hogle Zoo. I met up with Rachel, her kids and Aunt Abby as well. A special thanks to Abby who helped us keep track of all the little ones throughout the day.
I love this picture because it shows just how scared Lucy was of the Gorilla!
It was a beautiful day – not too hot, not too cold. We got to see lots of animals. Claire and Katelyn seemed to like the elephants and the giraffes the best. While visiting the giraffes Katelyn looked up at me and yelled “Look mom! My tooth came out!”
I was taken by surprise because none of my kids have lost their tooth BEFORE they started kindergarten. She was super excited and couldn’t wait to hurry home and show Meg and Jake. What a fun day!
