Happy 5th Birthday Katelyn!

Katelyn turned 5 on Wednesday. I find it a hectic time to have a birthday as we are barely over the Halloween chaos, but Katelyn made it easy this year. She said she would prefer to forgo a big party and instead, take a trip to Build-A-Bear. We have been there often to get an outfit or two for the girls’ bears, but her bear was starting to look pretty worn and she wanted a new one. So off we went to Build-A-Bear and that is where her new bear Holly, was born.

**Side note: Build-A-Bear is a store I generally try to avoid but I have to admit that upon arrival even I get excited to pick a bear, stuff it, dress it, and name it. It is one of those costs that isn’t necessary, but totally worth it. My girls tote their bears every where and change their clothes throughout the day. It is the one toy they never seem to get tired of playing with.

Katelyn is growing fast. She is in preschool right now and does gymnastics as well. She loves to draw and play with her friends. She is so sweet and lovable. No one gives better snuggles than her! I can’t believe she’ll be in kindergarten next year! Happy Birthday sweety!
