Yes, it is true. We got our first snowfall on October 12. That seems really early to me. As a matter of fact, I rarely remember seeing snow before Halloween since I moved to here from Alaska. This year appears to be quite different. My kids didn’t really know what to think. This picture of Claire pretty much sums it up.
We are still in the mode of swimsuits and trampoline jumping. It is crazy to believe the cold is already here. I am not entirely convinced it’s here to stay but gosh, I am beginning to think I am back in good ol’ Alaska. Please take me back to Utah. “There is no place like home, there is no place like home, there is no place like home…”

Ah, yes… how right you are. We got a 1/2″ inch of snow last night here in “good ol’ Alaska” and it is currently 34 degrees and melting. Got an email from Kathy and Jim this morning and it was a chilling 38 degrees in good ol’ sunny ol’ SGU!
Are you sure this is October? I think you sold us a bill of goods when you talked us into relocating in Utah. 😦

I can’t believe how much snow you got! We got about half as much as you guys did. I love that Claire, she cracks me up!
