Every year the 2nd graders at our elementary school prepare for weeks for a big dance festival. Jacob seemed nervous as the days to the performance drew nearer, but he did great! We shot some video so we could share the moment with our friends and family. Young man has skills!

Way to go Jake! I think I actually saw you crack one tiny smile there… and when did you ever get so dang tall?!?! You’ll have to show me some of your moves next time I see you, so be ready!

Yeah, he had a bit of stage fright so smiles weren’t abundant. π

Way to go, Jake! We need a good ‘dance-man’ in the family and you have certainly fulfilled that title. Nervous, embarrassed, or no… I saw some pretty good moves there. Way to go!

Jacob, did that ever bring back memories. I had to learn two of those dances in fourth grade. The Virginia Reel and the promenade dance. My partner was David Gren and he had warts all over his hands! Eww! I liked doing the dances, but I sure didn’t like holding his hands. My guess is that your partner LIKED holding yours… π
