Embarrassing…

mile2.gifOkay, so I am a sucker. My kids absolutely LOVE Hannah Montana so I decided I would do my darndest to get tickets to the Stadium of Fire featuring Miley Cyrus and the Blue Man Group. I was told the tickets were impossible to get and that I would need to get in a line to get a wristband in order to get tickets. I didn’t have the patience or time to do that so I figured I would get my computers (notice the “s”) setup and I would try to get tickets. I sat in an online waiting room from 4:15 to 5:00 on both computers when the tickets went on sale. A few quick clicks later I had 5 fairly decent seats to the concert. I heard they were sold out within 10 minutes so I am surprised I got lucky enough to get them. I also heard tickets were going on Ebay for over $1000 each. If my kids weren’t super excited to go I would have to consider selling them. πŸ™‚

  1. We got tickets too. Somehow Greg was able to get 12 of them while nobody else at work was able to. If my kids don’t behave we may have to try to get a good return on our investment, if you know what I mean.

  2. Tonight when Megan and Katelyn came to sit by Lily and I at “Annie”, Megan blurted out, “We’re going to the Hannah Montana concert!” I vaguely remembered hearing something about it on the radio and perhaps I should be embarrassed to admit that it was the first time I realized who Miley Cyrus was. Lily has never seen Hannah Montana and she didn’t even know who we were talking about. Apparently, I need to get with it if I’m going to be one of the “cool” moms…
