Drew is one week old today. It is hard to believe that a whole week has passed since his birth. He has been a fantastic baby so far. He isn’t particularly fussy. He only cries if he is hungry or needs to be changed. Other than that he is happy being held or hanging out in his bouncie. Last night I was able to get eight hours of sleep. He only woke up twice to eat (once at midnight and once at 5:30 am) and he slept until 9 am. He is the sweetest little guy! The other kids adore him and fight over who gets to hold him. Claire runs around the house yelling “baby gubber” (aka brother). He will be well loved in this family. 🙂 Here is a recent photo of him.
Wow! Baby Drew already looks like he’s been around the horn once or twice and has staked out his place in the family — sounds like it too.
We’re really glad you are finally getting some well earned rest. You’ve had some trying times with some of the others, although I’m sure you have forgotten some of those times. That’s nature’s way of prepping young mothers for the next one you know. 🙂
Drew is sooo cute! We’re sure he will have no trouble getting his way and leaving his mark as the forever “baby” of the family. It never should have happened to a boy! Boys always take the greatest advantage of opportunities like this. Afterall, not many of us end up in that lucky position do we, Seth? Let’s face it, he’s already leading a “royal” young life–what a lucky little guy to be who he is, where he is, and in the position he is in… Does it get any better than this?
