Thanks to my frequent attendance to my baby doctor apparently I have earned my “buy five, get one free” card (if you haven’t heard, we’re expecting number six).

After visiting with my OB today at my monthly check-up he jumped up and said, “Should we go take a peek?” I was confused by what he meant but he clarified, “Lets go see what it is… I mean if you want to”. I was totally taken off guard. I am only 15 weeks this week and I am scheduled for my official ultrasound on July 15, but I couldn’t resist. I didn’t think Seth would mind too much. So down the hall he hollered at the tech and said, “Hey, I know you are at lunch but this is my favorite patient, lets see what she is having!” I was pretty excited. The tech said he didn’t do this very often, only for his favorite and most frequent patients — awww. So I have finally attained high status in the maternity world. I love my OB and would highly recommend Dr. Judd to anyone.

Anyway, back to what everyone is waiting for…

We are having a GIRL! Of course I thought it was a boy but the tech said she was 99% sure. She said she is rarely wrong, even this early and she said the evidence was quite clear. She sent me home with several pics but since our scanner is on the fritz I won’t be posting them now. I always thought we would finish with a girl but I feel bad for little Drew. He is going to be surrounded by lots and lots of girls. Things will be verified again in July when I have my official ultrasound but I am pretty sure things won’t be changing much.

When I went to get the kids from Seth (He was watching them during his lunch.) I whispered it in his ear. His face went pale and he said, “There goes another $10,000 to yet another wedding.” Poor guy. He is already stressing the future finances. But I love him for that. Anyway, here we go 4 girls and 2 boys. Yikes!
